World Checklist of Vascular Plants (WCVP)

WCVP is an international collaborative resource made available through Plants of the World Online (POWO). The WCVP dataset includes both peer reviewed and in review accounts of the scientific names, synonyms and distribution for all species belonging to 459 seed plant families. POWO enables you to find a plant using any of its scientific names or retrieve all scientific names for a particular plant, or the areas of the world in which it grows. POWO also enables you to create a checklist for the plants in a particular place. The resource is facilitated by the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew with input from over 155 collaborators in 22 countries.
